Slightly sub-spherical or irregular lumps, 1~2.5cm diameter. receptacle is semi-spherical, grows together with calyx base; 5 sepals, lanceolate, yellowish-green or brownish-green, covered thin soft hairs; petals often wrinkled, after flattened, wide oval shape, overlaps each other, purplish-red, some is yellowish-brown; numerous stamens, yellowish-brown. Light texture, brittle. Potently aromatic odor, slightly bitter and astringent taste. |
