Macroscopic Features |
Aggregate fruit is composed of numerous fruitlets, conical or flat conical, 0.6~1.3cm tall, 0.5~1.2cm diameter. Externally yellowish-brown or pale brown, apex is blunt and round, center of base is indented. Persistent calyx is brown, below are stem scars. Fruitlets are easily to peel off, every fruitlet is half-moon shaped, back side has dense grayish-white fuzz, both sides have obvious reticulations, front side has raised crest lines. Light, hard texture; faint odor; slightly sour and astringent taste. |
