Macroscopic Features |
Flower often wrinkled. Stem is grayish-white, uneven length. 5 lobes of calyx, edges have relatively long thin hairs. Corolla is bell-shaped, up to 3cm long, 5 lobes, apex is curled, externally has loose short soft hair, grayish-yellow to yellowish-brown. Stamen is longer than the corolla, curved, expands out of corolla, anther is brownish-yellow, 2 chambers, hole-like crack. Commercial material does not have the ovary, and often the flower and stem are removed as well. faint odor, slightly bitter taste. |
