Macroscopic Features |
Rhizome is cylindrical, curved, with branches, up to 50cm long, 0.3~0.8cm diameter. Externally yellowish-brown to dark brown, with many curved thin roots, outer skin easily flakes off. Pliable texture difficult to break, uneven fractured surface, fibrous; yellow woody portion, radial arrangement and pith in the center. faint odor; taste bitter. |
