Macroscopic Features |
Irregular lumps, uneven size, externally has grooves and scraped off adheres to the surface, reddish-brown or purplish-brown. Hard and brittle texture, fractured surface is purplish-brown to black-brown, with glass-like luster, sometimes has small holes. When burned with fire, it produces pungent smoke. When crushed into powder, it has a fresh dark red color. No aromatic odor, sweet and salty taste, sand-like when chewed. |
