Sample Preparation

METHOD 1

	Dried and powdered were extracted with Me₂CO three times
	The gummy residue was subjected to column chromatography over DM-130 porous resin and eluted with MeOH: water = 5:5 to 9:1 and partitioned between water and ethyl acetate. Ethyl acetate part was subjected to column chromatography and eluted by petroleum ether and Me₂CO of increasing polarity. Six fractions were combined and collected.
	The second fraction was chromatographed over silica gel by using cyclohexane: EtOAc = 85: 15 and Sephadex LH-20 (chloroform: MeOH = 1: 1) to get targeted compound.
