序言 PROLOGUE 「全球華語大學生影視獎」轉眼之間已經踏入第13屆了，真是可喜 可賀。今屆參加的大專院校（包括海外）超過60間，各院校選拔參賽作品超 過100部，作品水平也越來越高！ 影視獎的主要目的是希望為大中華地區對影視有興趣的大學生提供 一個平臺，讓他們不但有機會互相交流砌磋，更能與世界上最優秀的電影學 院學生對話和討論，從而擴寬同學的國際視野。 今年，我們邀請到來自美國、英國、法國、波蘭、捷克、保加利 亞、澳大利亞、俄羅斯、韓國及印度等國家的電影學院師生代表參與，為東 西方醉心電影的年青人提供最好的交流平台。 歷屆「全球華語大學生影視獎」得到業界的熱心支持，今屆影視獎 邀請到影視各界資深前輩組成評審團，延續「全球華語大學生影視獎」追求 專業的優良傳統。 經過以往的努力，影視獎對學界的創意交流所作的貢獻，已獲得社 會人士認同。在此，我特別感謝孫少文基金連續多年的贊助以及各界的大力 支持。當然還有電影學院全體師生的努力，以及來自國內、台灣、澳門、香 港及海外各院校的積極參與，使第13屆「全球華語大學生影視獎」能順利舉 辦！ 本人謹代表主辦單位衷心致謝！ 今屆頒獎典禮將通過以下平臺轉播： 香港電台 YouTube 東風國際頻道（i-Cable 132台） 嘉麗台（304台） 亞太第一衛視（nowTV 552台） Viddsee網站 葉月瑜教授 第十三屆「全球華語大學生影視獎」主席 香港浸會大學電影學院總監 卓伯棠教授 第十三屆「全球華語大學生影視獎」執行主席
TH 13 GCU AWARDS The "Global Chinese Universities Student Film and TV Festival" has reached its 13th anniversary. I am grateful for the continuous support from the Universities, academics, and practitioners worldwide, as well as the fruitful results from the intellectual exchange.This year, we have over 60 participating institutions internationally and over 100 entries. Over the years, I am always astonished by the excellence of the entry works. Our aspiration is, as always, to facilitate opportunities for interaction, face- to-face discussion and exchange among the university students from the Greater China Region and the international students and scholars. This year, we have invited students and scholars from the U.S.,the U.K.,France,Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Australia,Russia, Korea and India. They will join our students and scholars to create an exchange platform between the Western and Eastern schools of thoughts. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to our supporters from all walks of life,especially to Simon Suen Foundation for thneir sponsorship over the past years. I am also grateful to all staff and students of the Academy of Film for their tremendous efforts. Last but not least, I wish to thank the professionals, academics and student filmmakers from all the participating countries. The film's story takes place in the seventies. After the beginning of the Sino-Vietnamese border war, the border area of two countries started a protracted conflicts. The story tells with a mortar platoon leader's memory.A squad stationed on the high ground was raided by Vietnam troops. When the high ground was ready to fall, the squad leader requested to mortar platoon for a fire strike to cover the firepower on the whole high ground. She did that to start new,better relationship with her mother, who was extremely strict and selfish.She didn't allow lryna to have any friends or lovers, so her daughter lived her whole life with rough mother, who was the closest person to her.
